Your data, handled with
the same care as your case.
Plain-language privacy. What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to take it back. No legalese mazes, no hidden clauses.
Who we are.
If a friend asked us "what's your privacy policy?" — this is what we'd actually say.
This privacy policy explains how Peeperly (operated by Millions Kart) collects, uses, and protects information about you when you shop with us, use our app, or interact with our website at peeperly.in.
The short version: we collect only what we need to deliver your order, run the brand well, and make your next visit better. We never sell your personal information. We never email you things you didn't sign up for. And anything you've shared with us, you can ask us to delete — anytime.
What we collect.
Specifically, here's the data that touches our systems when you interact with Peeperly.
Information you give us
- Name, email, phone number, and shipping address — when you place an order or create an account
- Payment information — handled directly by our payment gateway (Razorpay, Shopify Payments); we never store full card numbers
- Optional fields — birthday, favourite aesthetics, phone model — only if you choose to share them
- Anything you tell us in CS messages — emails, WhatsApp chats, return reasons
Information we collect automatically
- Device type, browser, operating system, IP address (for fraud prevention and analytics)
- Pages you visit on peeperly.in and which products you view
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 05
- App usage data — features you use, drops you tap on, push-notification responses
Information from third parties
- If you log in via Google or Apple — your name and email from that provider
- If you arrive via Meta Ads, Google Ads, or affiliate links — basic attribution data
- Public Instagram posts you tag with #YouAreTheDesign — for our Show Your Peep programme
Why we collect it.
Every piece of data has a job. Here's what each one does.
- To deliver your order — name, address, phone, payment
- To talk to you about that order — email and phone for tracking, dispatch, delivery notifications
- To handle returns and refunds — order history, original payment method, account details for COD refunds
- To make your next visit smarter — browsing history, phone model, past purchases
- To prevent fraud and keep the platform safe — IP address, device fingerprinting, suspicious activity flags
- To send you marketing (only if you opt in) — drop notifications, new collection emails, app push alerts
- To run Show Your Peep + Peeperly Circle — tagged posts, public Instagram handles, engagement data
- To comply with Indian law — GST records, consumer protection requirements, tax filings
Who we share it with.
We never sell your data. Full stop. But there are partners we have to share specific information with to get your order to your door.
- Shipping partners — Delhivery, Bluedart, Shadowfax, Shiprocket — receive your name, address, phone number, and order details for delivery
- Payment processors — Razorpay, Shopify Payments, PhonePe, GPay — handle your transaction; we never see your full card numbers
- Analytics platforms — Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Shopify analytics — receive anonymised browsing and conversion data
- Marketing platforms — Klaviyo, WhatsApp Business API, Wati — receive your email or phone if you've opted into marketing
- CRM and CS tools — Freshdesk, Zoho — receive your CS history and order details
- Cloud infrastructure — AWS, Shopify, Google Cloud — host our systems and your data
- Indian authorities — only if legally required to disclose
Every partner we share data with is bound by their own privacy obligations and the terms of our agreement with them.
The cookies, explained.
Yes, we use cookies. Here's exactly what they do and how to turn them off if you want.
- Essential cookies — keep your cart from emptying when you click away, keep you logged in, remember your phone model. Can't be turned off; the site wouldn't function.
- Analytics cookies — track which pages get used, where people drop off, which collections perform. Anonymised, aggregated, and used to improve the experience.
- Marketing cookies — Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags that help us show you relevant content on Instagram, Facebook, and Google after you've visited.
You can clear all cookies from your browser settings at any time. Doing so will log you out and reset your cart, but everything else will keep working.
How long we keep it.
Different data has different shelf lives. Here's the rough map.
- Account information — until you ask us to delete it, or after 5 years of inactivity
- Order records — minimum 8 years (required for GST and tax law in India)
- CS conversations — 3 years, for quality and dispute resolution
- Marketing data — until you unsubscribe, then anonymised within 90 days
- Browsing and analytics — 2 years in identifiable form, then anonymised
- Payment details — never stored by us; handled by gateway partners
Your rights.
Indian data-protection law gives you specific rights over your information. Here's how to use them.
- Access your data — email privacy@peeperly.in and we'll send you a copy of everything we hold on you within 30 days
- Correct your data — update your account, or email us with corrections
- Delete your data — request a full deletion at privacy@peeperly.in; we'll complete this within 30 days, except for records we're legally required to keep
- Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from marketing anytime via the unsubscribe link in any email, or message us on WhatsApp
- File a complaint — see Section 10 for our Grievance Officer's details
Children's privacy.
Peeperly is built for an audience aged 18 and above.
Our site, app, and services are not directed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared information with us, email privacy@peeperly.in and we'll delete it immediately.
Changes to this policy.
We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes get flagged to you directly.
If we make substantial changes — anything that affects how we use your data or your rights over it — we'll email registered users and post a banner on the site for 30 days. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
Continuing to use Peeperly after a policy update means you accept the updated terms. If anything ever feels off — we'd rather you reach out than walk away.
Grievance Officer.
Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 and the Information Technology Rules 2021, every Indian e-commerce business publishes a Grievance Officer. Ours is below.
For privacy concerns, data requests, or unresolved complaints.
If your concern isn't resolved through the Grievance Officer within 30 days, you can escalate to the National Consumer Helpline at 1915 or file a complaint at consumerhelpline.gov.in.
